Arian M. de la Grza PA-C is proud to be from the Rio Grande Valley and to give back to her community. Ms. de la Garza became interested in the Physician Assistant profession when she was a senior in high school and participated in the Health Career Opportunity Program at UTPA. As a college student she took classes in the Honors Program and was inducted into four honor societies. She was awarded the Gates Millennium Scholarship, the Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges and the All-American Scholar Collegiate Award.
Ms. de la Garza did volunteer work and held different leadership positions in various college organizations. Furthermore, she served as a University Ambassador at UTPA by being a mentor for freshman college students and also for high school migrant students through the program ESTELLA. She was the youngest and the only one in her PA class to be accepted in the Physician Assistant Studies Program as an undergraduate. Ms. de la Garza obtained her Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas-Pan American in 2005. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the Texas Medical Board. She continues giving back to her community by providing quality healthcare to the pediatric patients of the Rio Grande Valley.
